The Bangor Daily News’ Marketing Services Department works closely with Advertising, Circulation and Editorial departments of the newspaper in the areas of research, marketing and strategic planning. It also is responsible for the organization’s community relations efforts.
Committed to an ongoing program of market research, the NEWS periodically conducts and commissions qualitative and quantitative market studies, and is the repository of demographic and consumer-related data as it relates to the 8-county market served by the newspaper.
The department develops and executes multi-media marketing campaigns designed to promote Bangor Daily News’ products and services and maintain its brand.
