More than 350 local teachers use Bangor
Daily News in their classrooms each school year.  The program
helps teachers supplement their textbook learning with hands-on, real
life, engaging newspaper activities.

Support the program

Parents
are invited to sponsor newspapers in their child’s classroom or another
classroom in need of sponsorship. Newspapers are offered at highly
discounted educational rate of $.15 per daily copy and $.375 per
weekend copy.

Home Schooling

Home school parents need to sign up for a regular Bangor Daily News
home delivery subscription, but are more than welcome to take advantage
of any of the other services that NIE offers.  For username and
